Bible Study ~ Wednesdays @ 7 p.m.Come join Pastor Jiri tonight in the Sanctuary for this mid-week Bible Study. He is doing an in-depth study of I John; the focus of this week's study will be I John 3:19-20. Invite a friend and come join the group as they study together from God's Word and pray for each other!
MOVIE NIGHT this FRIDAY, MAY 18th ~ BBQ @ 6 pm & MOVIE @ 7 p.m.
The College & Career get-together this month is being combined with this All-Church Family & Friends event. The Spanish Church has also been invited!!! Bring your family and invite your friends to this fun evening of Christian fellowship at LABC! At 6 p.m. Pastor Jiri will have the BBQ fired up and ready to prepare a yummy meal of Burgers & Hot Dogs. At 7 p.m., the MOVIE,"The Prince of Egypt," will be shown in the Sanctuary.

"HANDS to GOD" this SATURDAY, May 19th, @ 9 a.m.
Reminder ~ The ladies will be getting together this Saturday, May 19th, at Panera Bread in the Village of Orange. Bring your yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, etc. and join with friends for a great morning of fellowship and refreshments while working with your hands. Everyone who attends this event says it is really fun! Come see what they are talking about!
“COFFEE TALK” Friday, May 25th @ 7 p.m.
Mark your calendars for “Coffee Talk” a week from this Friday at Panera’s Bread in the Village of Orange. The last Friday of the month is set aside for this very enjoyable evening of relaxation & fellowship with friends. The coffee is good and the pastries are yummy, so don’t miss out on this “end-of-the-week” get together for a great time of getting to know one another better and to just kick back and enjoy yourself.
SECRET SISTERS
Heather Puckett wants to remind all the ladies that the "Secret Sisters" is starting over in June! Joining requires a commitment to your "Sister" to give her lots of prayer, loads of love and plenty of encouragement throughout the year. The spending limit for gifts is $15.00 and can include such things as: notes, cards, flowers, plants, candles and/or small tokens of any kind. The purpose of these gifts is to let your Sister know she holds a special place in your heart ~ she is your "Sister in Christ". If you have any questions about Secret Sisters, just ask anyone who participated last year to share her testimony ~ Sally Bauersfeld, Sharleen Sample, Shelly Lummus, Miranda Lummus, Angella Perez, Grace Michik or Miriam Maddox.
DEPARTMENT BUDGETS for 2012-2013
Attention Department Heads! Kent Puckett needs to have all your 2012-2013 Budgets turned in to him by the end of June. To assist you in preparing your budgets, budget worksheets have been placed in your mailboxes by the office and there are extra work sheets on the table at the back of the Sanctuary. There are also some sheets listing account numbers to assist you in filling out the forms. If you have questions about your budgets, please contact Kent or Terrie McGown.
WOMEN of FAITH “One Day” Event in Long Beach on SATURDAY, JUNE 9th
Tickets are $59.00. Ladies, remember you need to register on-line at the Women of Faith website. If you need help registering, please talk to Sally Bauersfeld. If you need help with the registration fee, please talk to either Sally or Heather. We are Sisters in Christ and want to help where we can.
2012 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL ~ August 6th - 10th
Thanks to those of you who have already signed up! There is still a need for more workers so be sure to see Angie Wahl if you want to help out. Workers are needed in areas such as teaching, crafts, recreation, snacks, music and even record keeping. Look for the sign-up sheet on the table in the back of the Sanctuary. Our VBS will be held in the evening again this year – from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. We will have a program for all ages — birth through adult.
SINGLE WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY on MONDAYS @ 7 PM
This Bible Study for ALL single women is held at Angie Wahl’s on Mondays at 7 p.m. This study is from the book, "Living Above Worry and Stress" and just started Monday, March 26th. Remember, you can join the group at any time! Angie’s address is 1301 Windemere in Tustin 92780.
